RED FOX

The fur is long and silky with a fluffy tail. The upper part of the ears is black but the tip of the fluffy tail is white. The face is rufous but there is a dark spot below each eye. Though red colour is dominant but some times variable with bright yellow, grey, silvery and black.             The head and body length are 50-70 cm and the tail length  35-45cm. Excluding India, it is widely seen in Pakistan Nepal.  It inhibits sandy wastes,  sand dunes and river beds with bushes. But preferred habit in birchwood and cultivated lands.
